Curtea de Arges

Long ago, it was the first capital of the Romanian Country. But the city allowed times to exceed it in development, remaining today a modest city in terms of grandeur, but authentic in terms of spirit. And all this because the city is inhabited since ancient times, since the Bronze Age and Hallstatt, but still lives in pride of having been, once, the Romanian Country capital.
Touristic sites visited - Curtea de Arges Monastery
Old since the time of Neagoe Basarab, ruler of the Romanian Country, the monastery is known through the legend of the Craftsman Manole. The monastery is reached after crossing the boulverad of elderly, where hundreds of pilgrims come each year to pray – for the Orthodox faith, the place is one of the largest halidom prayer in the area, dedicated to the Assumption.

Day 2

Breakfast, short visit through the center of Sibiu; departure to Cluj, on the way tourists visit the city Alba Iulia, accommodation will be in Cluj, at 3 or 4 stars hotel.

Cities visited that day:

Today, over the tiles in the city’s center, thousands of people walk each day. A few hundred years ago, in the same Big Square (Piata Mare in Romanian) stood locked in a "cage of fools" those who contravened the public policy and the witches were burned ... But the truly magical stories of Sibiu are those that write each tourist's imagination - once surrounded on all sides by colored buildings, once the hand passes over the crack in the wall hundreds of years old, once the photo of the the city’s emblem, feeds the pigeons and feels the medieval city from the height of the tower. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then Sibiu is worth a thousand tales about the romantic air of the past. And the stories still flow over the place where once, not long ago, theater plays were put in scene, annual fairs were held, pigeons were housed on the roof of the Catholic Church, philosophers were seeking their muses, waving flags on the houses’ roofs and the soldiers whispered to their loved ones sweet talk on the "Liars’ Bridge".

Alba Iulia

The city is filled with history and culture, rich in touristic beauty and keen on personalized reconstruction. All these define Alba Iulia as a symbol of the past, ensurer of the past, present and the future Romanian spirit.

The Cathedral from Alba Iulia is considered to be the most valuable monument of medieval architecture in Transylvania, having the same age as the famous Notre Dame in Paris. Although it gathers architectural elements of different styles (Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque), the cathedral is still a representative monument of the late Roman architecture and impresses with beauty.

The Wooden Church from Surdesti

Wated for being the tallest oak wood building in the world - 72 m, with a 54m tower, the Church is though admired not for its scale, but for the architectural beauty of detail.

In the north, far away in Maramures Country, Sapanta common lays as a border point between Romania and Ukraine, on Tisa river. With a history of hundred of years, wise for an equal number, the city offers colored shows every season, performances of traditional history and lessons for those who have a hard life.
Visited touristic sites – The Merry Cemetery from Sapanta
Internationally known, nationally adored. The Merry Cemetery is distinguished by the colored crosses, the native paintings illustrating scenes from the life and habits of people buried here. Authentic, unique, this symbol of "fun in trouble" specific for the Romanian folk culture gathers one of the most important descriptive elements of Romania. Legends assign to the Dacians this power of crossig with optimism over the tragic nothingness – the Dacians’ belie was that death represents passing to a better life, thus reason for celebration.

Day 5

Breakfast; Departure to Brasov, on the way tourists visit the medieval citadel of Sighisoara, the Black Church in Brasov, accommodation and meals will be in Brasov at 3 or 4 stars hotel.

Cities / touristic sites visited that day:

Unique in Romania, rare in Europe. Sighisoara Fortress is still inhabited today, making it a historical dowry in the current medieval complex of military, civil and ecclesiastical architecture. However, Sighisoara is torn from the modernity due to the narrow streets, the glossy cubic stone, the lamps and rough brick walls, the towers (Goldsmiths’, Shoemakers’, Furriers’, the Clock Tower, Smiths’, Ropers’, Butchers’), the churches (the church on the hill, the lepers church, the Roman Catholic Churc), the House with Stag, the School on the hill, the Orthodox Cathedral, Vlad Dracul House, the monument "La Chip", the people.

From the alley recognized at European level, the Rope’s Street, and up to the tragedy of the biggest Gothic monument in Romania – the Black Church, the curiosities of Brasov write each day a legend. The modern combines with history, once mingled with the old style of buildings and streets. The Gothic, the Roman, the Renaissance, the Baroque, the Art Nouveau, Brancoveanu styles - are all present in the fortress’, churches’, cathedrals’ and the gates’ walls, which Brasov harmoniously hosts.
Spring in the town’s square, Piata Sfatului, is fresh, and in autumn the air is colorful. Winters are magical and summers are intimate. Here, where chance is met with grace, the citizen’s life slowly flows among the cameras and the admiring gaze of tourists. Because the silence over the city watches upon the local legends and makes any other stories to be redundant.
Visited touristic sites – The Black Church
The Black Church built downtown, is one of the most impressive monuments in the history of Transylvanian Saxons - and the organ is famous for its unique sonority in Southeastern Europe. Moreover, D. von Oppen artistically described the first impression - very strong – that the Black Church leaves upon the tourist, appreciating that “the visitor is entirely drawn thorugh the columns’ alley to the altar. His eye is follows the heights ... ".

Day 6

Breakfast; departure to Sinaia; on the way, tourists visit the Bran Castle and Peles Castle; accommodation and meals will be taken in Sinaia at 3 or 4 stars hotel.

Cities / touristic sites visited that day:

From Moeciu Gorge, Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mounatins, Dambovicioara Cave, Rasnov Fortress, the Saxon fortresses from Prejmer and Harman - Bran area represents the paradise of any tourist wishful of legends, history and nature.
Visited touristic sites - Bran Castle
The structure is typical for the XIV century fortifications, but nothing else follows norms when it comes to Bran Castle! Located in Bran – Rucar Step, 30 km from the urban influence of Brasov, the castle includes in its interior and exterior facades architectural elements from different historical ages of inspiration.

Nature, peace, comfort and privacy. All these are attributes of the mountain resort Sinaia situated in Prahova Valley. And all these support the charm of this place since the first hours spent here. At the foot of the Bucegi mountains, on the plateau descending to Prahova Valley, at an altitude of 800-1000 m, Sinaia seems a living city just for tourists, in armony with their feelings, generous with natural beauty.
Visited touristic sites - Peles Castle
