Nichita Stanescu Memorial House dates from 1926-1927 and was built by Hristea Stanescu (grandfather of the poet) and his sons George and Nicolae (father of the poet). In this house moved the married couple Nicolae and Tatiana in 1931. Here at March 31, 1933 was born and lived the great poet Nichita Stanescu.

The Museum collection includes: furniture (working office of Nichita Stanescu, the bedroom, piano, kitchen, dining room), the poet’s work (books with dedications autographs, offered to friends, family), International awards (Prize for the youngest poet - Struga 1965, The patent and the medal Gottfried von Herder in 1976, Grand Prize "Golden Wreath" of the Struga Poetry evenings of 1982, etc.), national awards (diplomas offered by the Writers Union of Romania, Academy, etc..) original documents (extract from the register of civil status for infants in 1933 to head the ticket box at the "Literary Gazette" - 1957), unpublished manuscript (Poetry "Quadriga", first international recognition of the poet - 1965 ), documents that certify a numismatic activity (Diploma of the Numismatics Society for Nichita Stanescu, medals etc.), photographs, posthumous work of poet and personal items (watches, lighters, statutes etc).
