The Dacian Fortress of Blidaru is located on top of Blidarul (703 m) and includes 2 rooms, united among themselves, having 6 strong towers. The first fortress that dominates the upper plateau of the hill, is of the trapezoidal shape and is provided with 4 towers outside, placed on corners. The access to the city was made by the first tower, designed to counter enemy's forces deployment. Inside are preserved traces of a tower house.

To the west of the first fortress was built the second one, with pentagonal shape. A tourist attraction is the battle platforms system to the north and west, with pillboxes.

The city's water supply was made through a quadrilateral tank, built in Greek-Roman technique and located in the north-west, outside the walls of defense. On the same side, on a lower terrace, called "Poiana Pertii" (Pertii Glade) was placed a guard tower to supervise the access to the city.
