Established in 2003, Vasile Grigore Art Museum has a collection of 500 exhibits covering all areas of fine arts: painting, sculpture, interwar Romanian graphics (Theodor Pallady, George Petrascu, Iosif Iser, Nicolae Tonitza) and contemporary art (Alexander Ciucurencu, Corneliu Baba, George Vanatoru, Ion Musceleanu, Lucian Grigorescu, Constantin Blendea, Henry Catargi, Ion Popescu Negreni, Ion Irimescu, Mihai Buculei Vladimir Predescu, Traian Bradean, Jean A.I. Steriadi).

This touristic site presents the love for the Romanian folk art of the master Vasile Grigore in an impressive collection of paintings on wood and glass, ceramics, religious objects and carpets.

Foreign art is represented by Japanese prints, of which we mention famous artists of the Rising Sun Country like Hiroshige, Utamaro, Kunisada. Within this collection are impressive the pieces of Japanese and Chinese porcelain, hand painted or printed that showed a great colors.

The foreign collection also includes pieces from British pottery type Delft, German, Russian and French tile. Among the household appliances are also numerous pieces of metal, engraved, hammered or perforated.

In most of the museum’s rooms are presented special prayer oriental carpets. The disk collection of Vasile Grigore and library, complete the museum's collection.
